NIC codes are used in various government registrations and schemes. Here’s how to apply or modify them:

1️⃣ Udyam (MSME) Registration

Register on: https://udyamregistration.gov.in
While registering, you can select one or multiple NIC codes
For biomass pellet plant, choose NIC 16101
You can update or add new NIC codes later via login
Udyam registration gives MSME status, necessary for:
- Subsidies
- CGTMSE loan scheme
- Electricity duty exemptions in some states

2️⃣ Company/LLP Registration (MCA)
